Hello, I loaded the smart sheet and paper and printed three photos. The next day I tried to print and it said it could not print because there is no smart sheet. I threw it away not realising I still needed it. The photo did not print and is not in the print que. what do I do? I don’t want to waste 7 sheets!!

Happy New Year!

I understand that you have an HP printer and it printed 3 photos on smart sheets and now does not print. Now the printer says that it could not print as there is no smart sheet installed. Not to worry, I'll do my best to assist you with this case.

To assist you better, I would like to know the following information:

  • Please let me know the exact printer model no. This link will help you to find the model no: http://hp.care/2bygf7l
  • What are these smart sheets? Did they come with the printer?

Is it an HP Sprocket printer? If yes then the blue Smartsheet calibrates the printer to each specific pack of HP ZINK paper.  Additionally, it helps to remove any dust or debris from the paper path that may impact print quality.

Overall, using the Smartsheet will ensure you're getting the best print quality out of your Sprocket printer. For more information, see the Sprocket user guide here:  http://hpsprocket.com/sprocket-userguide.pdf

Hope this information helps. Keep me posted. Cheers! 🙂
