HP Sprocket Photo Printer
Other

Hi, I just got my HP Sprocket for Christmas and it doesnt seem to be working. I have a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. Ive downloaded the HP Sprocket app.  I pair it and it pairs just fine but then it wont let me connect. And then I go online to look and people said pair it and unpair it. I do that but then it wont let me pair it back up again. Ive looked at the Setting up guide for the printer and it doesnt work. Ive tried it on my computer but it just tells me that Drivers are unavailable.  Please help! Ive wanted this printer for a long time but once I get it, it doesnt work and its frusturating.

Hi @ElizabethGJT,

Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community. I reviewed the case regarding assistance with the sprocket printer not working with the phone. I will be delighted to assist you here.

Superb description, brilliant troubleshooting and terrific observations made before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:

  • Do you get any error messages?
  • Did you try to uninstall and reinstall the HP sprocket app?

For now try these steps:

  • Please uninstall and reinstall the PP sprocket app on the phone.
  • Make sure to use the correct type of paper supported by the printer.
  • Follow all the relevant steps from the printer’s FAQs link: http://hp.care/2BH91Go  and it should fix the issue.
  • What if the printer does not print?
  • Why is my printout blank?
  • How do I reset my printer?
  • How do I upgrade my printer firmware?
  • Why do I need to load the Smartsheet®?
  • What paper sizes are supported?
  • Can I send multiple print jobs at the same time?

Also this link: http://hp.care/2C9qHem  shows how to set up the sprocket printer.

Please reset the printer again and update the printer’s firmware if nothing works.

This link: http://hp.care/2C9aWUy gives you information about the sprocket printer authored by experts.

This should do the trick for you.

Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient.

Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. 🙂 Please reach out for any issues and I'll be there to assist you.

To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help.
