Sprocket
iOS

We bought a Sprocket, combined with a iPhone8, and all seems to match well. However, the prints consists of too much red/rosa in it. Theay are nog the same as the original picture on the phone. We can't find a setting to change this.

@JacBouw,

Good Day.  A warm welcome to the HP community. I will be glad to assist you and let’s get right to it. Superb description and terrific observations made. It is amply appreciated.

Let me gather some information for better clarity to assist you correctly:

  • Did this happen after a recent software or iOS update?

I will be providing a roadmap with some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue. Let us try these steps:

  • Uninstall the sprocket append install the latest version of the app again.
  • Ensure to run all the latest iOS updates on the iPhone and make sure that it has the most current updates installed.
  • Then from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-sprocket-photo-printer/12635221/document/c05660842 (HP Sprocket - Improving Print Quality) perform all the prescribed steps.
  • Perform instructions from Step 1 to step 5 and check if the issue gets corrected. The firmware update is important.
  • If the issue persists, reset the sprocket by following instructions from this FAQs link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05241268 (HP Sprocket Photo Printers - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and follow instructions from the section “How do I reset my printer?”

This should nail it for you.

Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂
