@sophia138,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it resolves the issue.

  1. Make sure the Sprocket is on and your mobile device is connected to the Internet.
  2. On your mobile device, open the HP sprocket app.
  3. Tap the Menu icon https://support.hp.com/doc-images/996/c05670379.gif, and then tap sprocket.
  4. Tap Printers, and then select your Sprocket from the list.

The information screen displays.

  1. Look for a firmware upgrade.
    • If a firmware upgrade displays, tap Get Firmware Upgrade, and then follow the on-screen prompts to complete the update.
    • If a firmware upgrade option does not display, the firmware is up-to-date. Continue to the next step.
  2. After upgrading the Sprocket firmware, send a print job.

If the print quality is unacceptable, click here to continue troubleshooting.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
