I get a message stating this device is not supported when trying to connect to Bluetooth - is this accurate? The sprocket is supposed to work with iOS.

@Bertrendy

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.

I understand that you are unable to pair the HP Sprocket printer via Bluetooth with your iPad. There's a message stating that this device is not supported.

I would like to know the following information to assist you better:

  • Have you downloaded the HP Sprocket app on your iPad?
  • Have you tried pairing with the HP Sprocket using another device?

I did some research and found that HP Sprocket is compatible with iOS v8.0 and later. I suggest you to perform the below steps:

If you cannot connect your printer to your mobile device and it does not turn off when you press the power button, reset the printer with a straight pin to clear any errors.

  1. Locate the reset button near the charging port.

  2. Gently insert a straight pin into the reset button access point, and then press the reset button for 3 seconds.

    The printer resets and turns off.

  3. Press and hold the power button until the Status Indicator light is solid and white.

    The printer is now ready to print.

I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Keep me posted. Cheers! 🙂
