SERVER:
CMA 4000(Route Model)
Software Version 5.5.0ER19
CMAD Shipped Version 5.1.0.0060
CLINET:
Mac OS X 10.6.7/Mac OS X 10.6.6
Polycom CMA Desktop MacOS X 5.1.0.2692_1120
When CMAD( Using domain user or local user ) Log on the Server ,CMAD shows the informationg:“unable to download user information”,then fail to log on.While under WIN7,WINXP.it is ok to log on the Server.
Two months ago,CMAD could log on the Server in Mac OS X 10.6.6,but now ,it could not.
Acorrding to the Release Notes ,CMA can support Mac system(Mac OS X 10.6.7/Mac OS X 10.6.6),so there is anyting wrong about CMA settings? or the other reason cause the problem?

Drifter,
There is a known issue on Mac compatability between CMA-D version 5.1.0 for Mac OS and CMA server version 5.4 or 5.5. We have a hotfix available here, on our support ftp:
Install that on your Mac OS machines and you should be okay. This code resolves an issue with CMA-D authentication and allows Mac OS users to log into their CMA-D clients once again.
This hotfix should be rolled up into the next release of CMA-D software for Mac OS users.

Drifter,
There are some quirks with duplicate CMAD clients from the same computer. If you registered a client from one computer using local credentials and then tried to use domain credentials on the same computer, it does sometimes have issues because there is already a CMAD client with that IP address and alias.
Try deleting the record in the endpoint monitor view from your local registration or registering a user on a different computer. If that still does not work, then I would recommend calling in to 1-888-248-4143 and opening a ticket on your CMA so you can work with one of our product specialists to identify your issue.

The file was moved to a lower level directory on the FTP server to make it easier to find, I have updated the above link to point to the correct location:

WSU,
The path is still valid, but some people have been having issues resolving our DNS lately. Try getting to the FTP server by IP at:
And see if that helps.

Hi Alki,
Still, not getting to that file even from the ip (ftp://140.242.225.51/). Can you please provide the full path to it. I have explored it but didn't find the file. Please provide on urgent basis.
