Hi ,
I would like to know about the number of users can be created in CMA5000 if we use external databse .
What is the limitation :
-> Using internal DB .
->Using external DB . Does this option depend on the number of licenses device has ?
We are using CMA 5000 with 500 licenses .
Thanks,
Rakesh

Hi Steffen,
Thanks for your prompt response .
My query is to know the maximum number of registrations possible in CMA for CMAD users integrating LDAP with CMA .
We are using Active Directory logins to login to CMAD .
Thanks,
Rakesh

Hello Rakesh,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
Below is a quote from the CMA_Operations_Guide_6_0.pdf page 10 which can be found => here <=:
Integration with an external Microsoft SQL Server database is required for redundant CMA 5000 systems or for CMA 5000 systems supporting more than 400 concurrently registered endpoints and 240 concurrent calls.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Rakesh - there is a hardware limitation, but you have the 500 seat license. I don't know the hardware limitation of the top of my head, but it is much higher than 500. In case, your answer will be 500 because of your license.
