Best of The Month - June '13

Our Forum continues to grow. This month, 7 million people came to our community looking for help with their HP printers, tablets, notebooks, or desktops.

Many of these visitors went back happily with their questions answered by our fabulous Experts.

In case you aren’t familiar with our Experts, they are a group of technically savvy people who volunteer their time to help others. Some of them are employees, but many of them are customers who contribute because they want to give back and help people use the technology they own.

And so we want to showcase members who made a significant difference in the forum during the month. Starting this month, we are giving two awards: Top Contributor and Best of the Month.

• Top Contributor  : This award goes to the member who made the largest contribution to the community for the month with a focus on quality. We look at how often he or she posted, the number of solved threads, and the amount recognition received from other members.

• Best of the Month  : This award goes to someone who goes above and beyond to help community members and HP. Perhaps he or she wrote a guide, gave great advice to HP that improved our ability to support customers or build better products, helped another member with a particularly challenging problem, or helped providing knowledge to our expert community.

Our Top Contributor for June is:

Lasvegaswireman joined our community in 2011. You’ll find him on our computing boards. In June, he solved 88 threads, received 207 kudos, and made 523 posts. Without his contributions many people would still be looking for an answer to their questions. You can see from the comment below, how much the Forum members appreciate his help!

For June, our Best of the Month title goes to:

Erico single-handedly provided 57 solutions this month! He helped a lot more people, as 140 of them came back to show their appreciation by giving him Kudos. But that’s just a part of his contributions.

He also provided valuable advice that helped improve some support content on HP’s web site.

And after all the help he offered in the Forum, it’s not a surprise that one of them couldn’t stop himself from expressing his gratitude.

Well, I could go on to ink out more about both Lasvegaswireman and Erico’s contributions, but that may not end anytime soon. So instead, I will voice my thanks by borrowing a few words from the above quote -- You rock!
