In the post of the week, flyingguy1 came to the HP Support Forum for help recovering a file. He'd sent it to the trash, and then he'd emptied the trash. Many of us have been in this situation, and it's extremely frustrating.
DavidPK to the rescue! Lucky for flyingguy1, there are ways to recover these deleted files. DavidPK shared an example of third party file retrieval software (free!), and provided additional tips on ways to increase the odds of recovery. This is great advice for those of us who have inadvertenty deleted something important - thank you DavidPK! I bet I'm not the only one who learned something new with this post. As always, use third party software at your own risk - it's best to go with software that has been highly recommended by others.
It's now time to share the Top 20 Posters of the week - check out the chart on the right. Double congrats are in order for DavidPK! Not only did he have the post of the week, he blew away the competition, earning top honors with an enormous 295 posts. In send we've got Hanspuppawith 182 posts, and Paul_Tikkanen in third with 165. Great job, everyone.
In other news, we'd like to remind everyone about Expert Day! This huge virtual event will take place next Wednesday (Sept 21), right here on the Forum. Over 200 experts will be out in force on the English, French, German, and Portuguese Support Forums, so come armed with your toughest printing and computing questions. You can read more about the event here. We hope to see you there.
