I wish I would have found this page prior to purchasing a laptop from HP(I have a desk top and never had problems, thank God!), it's been 8 days now, 8 days of frustration and anger.  HP does not honor price guarantee so I am guessing they wouldn't honor much else they sell or advertise.  I've contacted HP representatives all week long only to hear one story after another.  And the fact that their customer service agents are all in South East Asia, (the ones I spoke to anyway) makes it even more difficult to communicate with.  The one I spoke with tonight,(Christina) told me that HP does not honor their pricing policy guarantee if it is over $100.00, insisted that they are never allowed to credit more than that amount.  So much for their pricing policy guarantee.  Not only that but I found the customer service agents very deceitful.  When one lie wasn't working they had no shame in creating another, I found it shocking! I spoke with Kimberely, Kate, Christine, and Khai yesterday, accomplished nothing but using my cell phone minutes, missing dinner and time with my child.  I won't do that anymore, before you know it my phone bill will be more than I lost with HP and nothing is more important than time with my child.  I'm going to look at it as an $1100.00 lesson.  The lab top I purchased just days ago from them is already having problems, I think it would be easier to through it out the window than deal with another dishonest, manipulative, customer service agent but I will most likely end up returning it and eating my looses.  It just isn't worth the frustration and aggravation. Life is short and I don't have hours a day to sit on the phone talking to someone I am struggling to understand that isn't going to help me in the end anyway. I couldn't believe that the HP in the united states was aware of what was going on but after finding this forum I am realizing I may be wrong.  Just a suggestion....You can't win with HP, they are a big company and apparently many of you are having problems but you can share with your friends, family, church members, and many more via the internet.  Consider making a video and upload on youtube, make sure "HP" is in your title, save others from the hell you are experiencing and make a true dent in HP pockets. You can also post on any blogs you visit. I also suggest saving all communications and documenting phone conversations because these are some of the most dishonest people I have ever had to deal with.  I hope that if you are reading this you have not yet made a purchase from HP, but if you are like me and found this page afterwards all I can say is I am sorry for you.

Good Luck!

PS......you can't add HP in tags on this site but that is only this site.
