We’ve heard you loud and clear.   

 

We have some hardcore fans of community badges and we've come to realize, based on your valued feedback, that many community members prefer not to receive a badge for their community participation and activities.  

 

Community Badge were intended to be a visual reward that community members can earn for completing specific community actions or for achieving important community milestones but it seems that was not your experience. 

 

We believe that the value is in the eye of the beholder and you've told us that badges aren't "It". For this reason, effective as of October 31st, we've made the decision to discontinue the badges on the HP Community.
