This Is A HP Photosmart All in One D110 E Print Printer That On Occasion Would Require Reinstallation Of The Software Due To The Fact An Error Would Pop Up On My Windows 7 Machine. This Would Occur Once Every Few Months But As It Had A Automatic Software Update Feature I Was Sure That at Some Point A Repair Would Come Out. It Never Did ! The Machine Went Out Of Warranty On 11/21/2011 and I Never Did Give It Much Thought. I Started To Get Another Error Related to The Printer In The Device Manager Screen Wan Miniport IKeV2 And Teredo Tunneling Device. They Could Not Be Updated Or Uninstalled So I Went to The HP Self Help Options On Their Website And Worked Through the Fixes It Recommended To No Avail. The Self Help at End Offered Me A PIN # That Was Valid For 72 Hrs Only To Call Their LEAD STREAM Technical Dept And I Did. The Technician Connected To My Computer And Took Over The Control Of My Machine. After Some Workthroughs He Got A Test Page to Print And Felt As Though he was Done And was There Anything Else. I Said Yes The Original Issue Had Not Been Addressed And That I Was Sure The Printer Still Not Print. Frustrated He Continued To look And See That I was Right. As He Then Gleaned My Debugging Info And Error Log While I Was On Hold And Watched What He Was Doing. He Came Back On The Line and Stated That I Had A Network Problem and When That Error Was Fixed I Could Feel Free To Call Back. I Stated That WAS THE ISSUE And After Hanging Up I Tried To Repair The Machine In Many Ways And Ended Up Doing A Complete Format And Reinstallation. Today On 1/31/2012 a Automatic Update Was Issued That Used The Debugging Info That Was Gleaned From My Misfortune and I Feel That This Practice Was And Is Very Underhanded. I Payed The Price And HP REAPED THE BENEFIT. I Called Corporate To Complain And They Felt Justified. I Have About 15 Hours Invested at This Point and Are Not Done Yet. I Will Never Buy A Hewlett Packard Product AGAIN EVER!!!
