Thank you for your assistance BUT I hope you still have some advice left...

I spoke to the US Helpdesk which then directed me to the UK but then was re-directed to Curry Know How but then found that I bought on Line from them .... the passing the buck goes on.

 

In short talking to them it was suggested that there was a problem with HP on the issue of Wireless connection to the mother board and was suggested that it is not the Ralink Wireless board. Apparently so I understand this was aproblem in the past with HP?? I was thinking of getting the Ralink from eBay to try out. If it is the motherboard then WHAT is it? Though according to HP my laptop is warranted unti 28th jan 2014. 

 

So any suggestion as to how to go about getting my problem resolved or do I just gave up????
