Dear Sir,

I am giving below a brief synopsis regarding my HP Probook 6450B, Serial # [Personal Information Removed]  CASE ID: 4638444917

I had a problem regarding my notebook and was advised by HP Customer care, to take the Notebook to Simtechcomp, at Apple Plaza, Dadar (West), Mumbai.

I was there at the Service centre at around 9.25 AM on Friday which can be ascertained by the First Entry in your Record book with Watchman.

The Notebook was checked, and it was determined that the Motherboard and Keyboard, has to be changed at my cost, and the above case ID was prepared. A quotation was sent to me by Prateek at Delhi. We agreed to a price of Rs.15014/-, and I accepted the same.

Thereafter, I went to the Apple Plaza Service station to collect the notebook on Saturday evening. I was horrified to see the condition in which the Notebook was being given to me. The Top Cover (Panel) was physically damaged. The Inside panel was damaged (both were immediately shown to Mr. Tahaa). I Immediately also requested the concerned engineer to come down. One Mr. Amar, did come down - I took one look at him and asked him a few questions - it immediately stuck to me that Mr. Amar is a trainee. I cannot understand why a expensive Notebook like a Probook should be handed over to a Novice / Trainee. I also talked to Mr. Khan - the manager over telephone.

I was asked to take the Notebook, which I did not. I left the notebook with the Service Center.

My point is that why a complicated Notebook like Probook 6450 should be handed over to a novice / trainee like Mr. Amar - is it that the Notebooks are not the property of HP or Simtech any longer - and you would be least bothered what happened.

Now please note that I am hereby putting SIMTECHCOMP and HP INDIA, and HP HEAD OFFICE, at call - This maybe treated as a LEGAL NOTICE, to all concerned.

I am also very concerned, that some original parts in the Notebook could have been changed by spurious parts.

Please do hereby note that HP and SIMTECHCOMP is now called upon to Replace the Top Cover and the Inside Panel with Brand new Cover and Panel. All other parts including the hard wares which have been physically damaged by you, and where there are screw driver marks, are also to be immediately replaced by HP India / SIMTECHCOMP. Few of the physical damages such as screw driver marks were shown to Mr. Tahaa.

HP India is now warned and called upon to replace all such parts which have been physically damaged by you at HP / Your cost, including:

1. Top Cover

2. The Inner Panel

3. All other damaged parts

You are also warned and called upon to completely reverify that all the Hardware and all other parts are that which are original, and as originally fitted by HP. Only the following parts are changed from the original piece:

1. The Optical Drive - which was changed by HP under warranty

2. The KEYBOARD which is now being changed by HP at our cost

3. The Motherboard which is now being changed by HP at our cost

Please also note that my NOTEBOOK was given to HP / SIMTECHCOMP in absolutely pristene condition. I want it returned in pristene condition.

Please also note that since I am not having a Notebook to use at present, it is causing anguish and loss to my business. Hence, all these corrective actions / replacements must br completed immediately, and the Notebook returned to me by Tuesday March 6, 2012, evening. Thereafter, HP and SIMTECHINDIA will be liable to costs and penalty at Rs.15000 per day.

I would like HP USA and HP INDIA to note that we have been a loyal client of HP since last 6 - 7 years. We are using 3 HP Notebook / PCs and 3 HP Printers. Is this the way a regular client is treated by you?

Regards

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for Hewlett-Packard.
