TO hell with HP and it's services !!!I I purchased a brand new g7 1219wm laptop in US with warranty .I started using from march 2012.I brought the same to India . I wanted to install Xp in it, when I tried with bootable xp it threw a Blue screen .The AMD processor supports Xp,win7 for 32 bits and 64 bit in my desktop . I tried to create a rescue disk it failed . Formatting for partitioning didn't work .I checked Hard disk. then I used a bootable win 7 while making partitions I lost the previous partiotions .How can I get it restored to the previous factory settings ? How can you make it work for XP .The Hp support guy frankly turned down my request .He said it's not supported in India.If you are region specific what is the use of opening HP service service centers .If you are providing rescue disks why can't you make it available in all major consumer countries of the world ?
