Yes my computer is still under warranty.

I called HP support yesterday, Thanksgiving Day.

The first thing the HP support person said was "Happy Thanksgiving."

Then he wanted to know if I felt comfortable opening up my computer, and I said yes.

Next he had me remove all the cables from the back of my computer, open up the side panel and remove the memory chips.  Plug the power cable in and start the computer and listen for  a Beep sound.  The beep sounded so he had me turn off the computer and reinstall the memory chips and restart the computer.

He offered no other advice or help but only to say that if I wanted to I could contact HP for whatever?

Since then it has shut-down once and frozen once.

Do you think I should contact HP about a replacement since it is still unter warranty?

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for Hewlett-Packard.
