I recently bought a Pavilion Dm4 laptop.   within  4 months  it died- the mother board burned out, I sent it to HP,  they shipped me the prepaid box, and they worked quick, at least I can say I was happy about that but I have happy a very poor overall experience with HP and I am not happy with the laptop.    They advertise a 5 hour battery, within 2 weeks of having the laptop, it was holding a  1 hour and 22 minute charge and the power meter and time remaining software never reported the correct information.  I have seen a ton of other people on websites with the same issue with the battery and HP doesnt seen to care or try to make it right.   When i shipped my laptop to them , I asked them to back up my date, they didn't and everything was in My documents folders and nothing was wrong with the harddrive so- they just didn't do that because it would have taken time.  they replaced my laptop for some reason-  and put in a smaller hard drive then it originally came with.    When  i contacted support about this they told me to do a factory restore even though i knew that had nothing to do with the hard drive size,  then  i was told they had to call me back and never did,  I writing this post because i got an email to complete a survey about my experience with HP support, I click the link and I'm told it closed.   Other than that,   the i5 processor is fast,  the screen is bright both good,  but the keyboard suck,  it  doesn't capture the strokes  sometimes and its not my typing.  I am venting and wondering  what i can do  about this laptop,  i really don't even want to use it cause i had such a horrible time with their support and the laptop just angers me now.  I should have bought a Lenovo or Mac.   I hope someone contacts me from HP{Personal Information Removed}

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for Hewlett-Packard.
