Contacted HP Tech Support because old HP puter having problems.  Determined it was DOA.  Quoted a new i5 quad core, 6 gb ram, video card, tv card, 6 mg ram, 1 tb hard drive, software, etc.  Down on Nov 18, 2011.  New one here on Nov 27..good service.  However what I recieved was the i3 dual core, no video card, tv card, etc.  Just spent the last 2 1/2 hours on the phone with the HP Home office support trying to get this fixed.  First response:  $147 extra now.  Second response: $41 extra.  Third response - no extra (supposedly).  Regardless - unless I pony up the cost of a completely new system it wont be till December 19 that the new one is shipped.  Meantime I have already lost at least a week or so of work time and fixing to lose another three.  This though if I had the money I could have a new one by Dec 5.

Yes - I have a copy of the chat log in which the deal was made by HP.  They are standing by the deal (I hope) in everything but the shipping time as far as I know.  Meantime my business will be dead in the water as the i3 will be boxed and to Fedex as soon as I get the info from HP.

Currently have two desktops, one laptop, and 3 printers in service that have the HP name on them.  Guess what name they wont have on them when they are replaced.  Plain ole bait and switch.

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for Hewlett-Packard.
