30 October 2011

TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERNED

I have purchased a HP Printer OFFICEJET J3508 ALL-IN-ONE on 8 May 2011 from :

MDS TECHBASE SOLUTIONS (P) LTD

E-2/15, Malviya Nagar Main Road, New Delhi

Entilling me to have a Warranty of 1 Year from HP.

My Printer’s details -   SERIAL NO. [text removed for privacy], product no. CB067A. -

OPERATING SYSTEM - WINXP

PROBLEM :

From some time I am facing a problem that if I want to FAX a page (or a collection of pages) from my PC directly to someone then there is no FAX option available in MS-Word. (Reason of this problem is un-known to me)

DISADVANTAGES TO ME IF THIS OPTION IS NOT WORKING :

Everytime unneccesarily I have to take the print-out from pc just to send fax from printer panel,

result -  total waste of time, ink, pages and moreover difficult to use from printer-panel as for example sometimes I notice that only 2 pages have faxed succesfully out of 3 or 4 papers I put in the upper tray for faxing.

I contacted HP through email and talk through customer care to register my complaint and send a HP executive to my home as my product is under Warranty .

HP only gives me a Service ticket no. [text removed for privacy]

I have been told that only Complaints regarding Hardware problems will be registered. which is totally un-acceptable and wrong practice.

When the software is not loading properly even through the CD send by you then the PRINTER is not functioning for me and I call it a Hardware problem.

One executive told me that the company updates its product’s driver in 6 months or so (approx). So in my case driver could be an outdated-one so you people advice me to update/download a new driver for this product from HP website.

Now I tried everything – first try to re-install the driver from the CD given with this product , result problem not solved and other first completely remove this software from my PC then download new driver from HP Website, result again the same.

Now look I am totally fed-up with this un-professional attitude that you just sit comfortable in your office and think that customer is fool and he will not do anything ,

I simply want that hp should register my complaint  (since my product is under-warranty)and send a HP technician [text deleted]
