I have a HP netbook under warranty.  The battery has been giving trouble and I called the HP customer care. They registered the complaint and asked me to send the snapshot of the battery health check( which said replace battery) two email ids. And they said I would received the battery after 2 - 3 days. I sent the snapshot to the mail ids. Then was asked for some furtehr details - Battery snapshot in advanced mode. I checked but there was no advanced mode. I wrote back to them saying i had a netbook and there was no advanced mode. asked them how to get this advanced mode snapshot. No response from them.

Then I got a call from the customer care asking me why I hadnt sent the email with the battery health check up. I told him that i had sent it twice. The person seemed surprised and apologised - saying that they would resolve it very soon. I was hoping to get the replacement battery in a day or two. Instead I got an email after two days that the case was closed because they could not reach me!!! I was pretty shocked and annoyed. I had sent all the details and in fact had not got responses to my mails. Had answered the call from the customer care exec. who promised that it would be resolved soon. So what else? I am upset and dissapointed by the poor response and inabilty to resolve an issue by the HP support here in India. I am still under warranty and dont want to spend on a new battery when rightly the company should replace. Please help!

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for Hewlett-Packard.
