NEVER PURCHASE FROM HP-BAD PRODUCTS-BAD SERVICE

http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-Notebook-PC-questions/NEVER-PURCHASE-FROM-HP-BAD-PRODUCTS-BAD-SER...

I bought an hp pavilion dv5 a little under 4 months ago.  About 2 months ago, it started to just shutdown while I was using it. It was not an overheating issue because it would do this within a few minutes of turning it on.  I called tech support and they had me download bios software, take the battery out, press buttons etc....it took 6 calls for the computer to stop turning off after they made me do a factory system restore! ...a couple hours after that was done, my touchpad/mouse stopped working properly.  It would freeze and jump around the screen and I now have to turn the computer off for it to start working again, if it does at all!  I am now up to NINE calls to tech support withing 3 days.  I am now writing this because I just hung up with tech support after being told that I would have to send my laptop in for repairs and I explained to them I bought this for school and that I take online courses.  There is NO way I can go without the computer as it is the only one I have in the house.  I asked to speak with a manager because the customer service representative started to get nasty with me saying he's offering to repair it and he put me on hold.  After about 5 minutes he gets back on the line and says that his manager is busy at the moment with another customer and that I can wait for him I want.  ....WELL I WAITED ON THE LINE FOR A TOTAL OF 37 MINUTES!!!!  NO ONE HAS HELPED ME. I PAID ALMOST $800 FOR THIS LAPTOP THAT IS ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS AND A HEADACHE OF PROBLEMS. NO ONE AT THIS COMPANY WILL HELP ME!

I WILL MAKE SURE TO STOP AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN FROM BUYING PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY THROUGH SOCIAL NETWORKS, COMPUTER AND TECHNOLOGY FORUMS, IN STORE CUSTOMERS AND ANY OTHER WAY I CAN.
