hi there

I have had my HP laptop for just under a year. recently it has been seriously overheating right from when i switch it on and it keeps overheating to the point where the keyboard and the mouse pad are really really hot and the noise is really loud. And then after about 2 hours when its at its hottest it just switches itself off. i have tried putting it on a surface that doesn't cover the fan but that doesn't help. Can someone help me out please. Thank you

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for Hewlett-Packard.
