This is at least the 4th different page on the support forum on this same issue to which I have added my comments. I have also now looked at the Amazon.co.uk review and added my comments to that. I cannot belive that hp have been trying to fob people off about this obvious driver bug since January!! I contacted them in July before reading any of the support forum stuff, when they must have already known full well about the issue, but continued to fob me off for weeks. I wish I had read all this stuff beforehand to throw back in their face. They now seem to have given up on me as I decined their latest offer of a replacement new model 3050 (they could not confirm whether it used a new driver - they aleady sent me a replacement 3050 J610a which obviously did not cure the problem, as it can be seen in print preview without actually bothering to print out).

hp did offer a refund, but as the 3050 was a present, I do not have the receipt.

I can only assume hp is hoping people will use up lots of supplies of ink trying to fix the problem. They should issue a product recall, or more simply FIX THE DRIVER BUG and e-mail all people who have registered this product that a replacement driver is available to donwload.
