DesignJet T120

Hello,

I have a DesignJet T120 that I support at work that is showing a blue screen with the error message "BA7E41B0" when it starts. I have tried resetting it a few times, (turning it on, disconnecting power, waiting 60 seconds, plugging it back in, and turning it back on), however that has not changed anything. I have read in other articles regarding similar blue screens that all blue screens on these printers typically indicate some kind of issue with the firmware storage device or the main board. Is this true? Are there any other troubleshooting options besides resetting the printer?

I have already looked into creating a new firmware storage device and plan on doing so if there are no other troubleshooting steps that I can take.

Usually the USB stick on the formatter has failed. CQ890-67105 is the part number for a replacement. You can order from the HP Parts Store.
