 I repaired this plotter replacing HP Designjet Encrypted chip 

The chip is in usb slot on the mainboard in usb slot 

like this one

you need to check the serial nmber for the chip to be correct

Bluescreen errors are random from B0000000 to BXXXXXXX 

always the same chip
