Good morning,
I have seen no clear indication about Call Completion support in the docs and would like to know if it is implemented or not.
Is it possible ?
It is generally based on Dialog-Info SUBSCRIBE's to determine, when receiving for example a 486 BUSY, if the phone is available again for another call.
Thanks,
Damien

Hello Damien,
could you be a bit clearer what you are after?
Is it a specific RFC or can you give a better example?
Best Regards

Older systems have that functionality : when you call somebody and that person is busy, you can enable CCBS (callback-on-busy). When the remote person puts the phone on hook, you get notified and you can dial again automatically.
In SIP, this can be done using SIP Dialog-info. When you dial somebody and you get a 486 BUSY from the remote, your phone can send a SUBSCRIBE to the remote extension with Event:dialog-info. The phone gets notified when the dialog is "terminated" and trigger a call.

Hello Damien,
this is currently not supported.
I can only advise you to raise this as a feature request => here <=.
Please include the business case for it and if possible the relevant RFC.
Best Regards

Many Customers ask us for this common feature "CALL COMPLETION", we already lost two cases against SNOM.
Obviously, Polycom has made great efforts to achive a certain Microsoft compatibility. We've seen the first results in 4.01B, featuring spontaneous reboots, unexpected and loud tones on the handset, freezing phones and an unusable microbrowser.
SO, after having fixed some major problems in 4.03F, when can we expect a very common feature to be announced by Polycom for its "normal" users ?

Hello HansBonfigt,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
Please work with your Polycom Reseller to bring this to the attention of a Polycom sales engineer.
The Community is not the correct place to raise a feature request for a functionality that is not currently supported (CCBS / CCNR).
UCS 4.0.2 Rev B already inlcuded Bug Fixes for issues found in UCS 4.0.1 Rev B.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
