There are some "auto off-hook" parameters available in the config files.
call.autoOffHook.x.enabled
call.autoOffHook.x.contact
You might want to check to make that these are not enabled in you config file(s). Is this issue consistent or intermittent?

I think that this may be some firmware related bug. I checked the release notes but did not find anything like the issue that you are having. However, there is a later version of firmware (3.1.7) available for that phone which can be downloaded from the support page. Its worth a shot.
