Hi @1W_A,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP All-in-One 24 keyboard is not pairing with your HP desktop after a Microsoft upgrade, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue.
Check Bluetooth Settings:
- Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your HP desktop. You can do this by going to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and making sure Bluetooth is turned on.
Re-pair the Keyboard:
- Remove the keyboard from the list of paired devices on your desktop.
- Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices, find your keyboard, and select Remove device.
- Put the keyboard into pairing mode (refer to the keyboard's manual for how to do this) and try pairing it again.
Update Drivers:
- After a Microsoft upgrade, some drivers might need to be updated. Go to Device Manager (you can search for it in the Start menu), expand Bluetooth, and right-click on your Bluetooth driver to select Update driver. You can also check for Windows updates via Settings > Update & Security to make sure everything is up to date.
Restart Devices:
- Try restarting both the keyboard and the HP desktop. Power off the keyboard (if it has a power button), wait a few seconds, and turn it back on.
Check for Interference:
- Ensure there are no other devices causing interference with the Bluetooth signal, such as microwaves, wireless routers, or other Bluetooth devices.
Reinstall Bluetooth Stack:
- If the issue persists, you can try reinstalling the Bluetooth driver by right-clicking on the Bluetooth adapter in Device Manager, selecting Uninstall device, and then restarting your computer. Windows should automatically reinstall the correct Bluetooth drivers.
Check for HP-Specific Software:
- Some HP desktops might use specific HP software for Bluetooth pairing. Check the HP Support Assistant for any updates related to Bluetooth or keyboard pairing.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
