I recently found this rotting in my attic, and I can’t seem to find a way to reset the password without entering setup. Please help me!

Time to put it back in the attic...?
Only solution might be to re-install the OS, if that's even reasonable. Microsoft took down all the updates for old OS from their sites. So any installation media you may have will be way out of date. And I don't recommend downloading OS components or updates from "unknown" web sites which could contain malware...

Since this PC is really old, chances are the motherboard battery died long ago. So it would have to be replaced before you can do anything else...
Meaning you have to open the case, or just put it back in the attic.
