Pavilion DT tp001-2155m
Microsoft Windows 11

New Pavilion DT - TP01-2155m.  Purchased directly from HP site and arrived Tuesday (12/21) .  Audio beeping whether logged in or not.  Just boot up and it beeps.  Try to watch YouTube video and it beeps.  Googled the issue and found lots of complaints.  Arrived and set up Tuesday and it started with Win 10.  Yesterday AM when I logged in, it didn't ask, just updated to Win 11 which was OK as my old on was on 11.  Beeping before and after the update.

Hi,

I would contact HP Support (Link) or HP Sales because you have a brand new PC.

The beeping would be coming from a MB speaker which is used to generate BIOS error beep codes. But you hear this when using Windows. This means you have a successful POST (Power On Self Test). Common BIOS error codes can be reviewed at this (Link).

I would disconnect the PC from AC power. Depress the power on button to dissipate residual energy in the MB.

Remove the side panel. Remove the MB CR2032 battery to reset CMOS.

Let the PC sit for a few minutes. Reinstall the MB battery.

Try starting  the PC again to check for problem resolution.

Check all connections to the MB. I have never seen this error before. This is a first for me. I would say you have an unspecified hardware problem. Could be the speaker, the MB, or something else.

Regards
