Sorry but it doesn't mean anything to me as I'm not that technically minded. All I really wanted to know was simeple yes or no. I don't know if this helps but I'm running a 64bit win 7 home premimum.

Goto http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/29789-RW-Everything-Latest-News, locate and download the RW-Everything program. Then run it and follow the instructions.

No go mate. I've tried both full and portable, it just keeps refusing to load the driver, I've tried a few versions plus a few portable and they all give me the same message.

OK mate, I just went to MDL, clicked on this link; http://rweverything.phpnet.us/bin/RwV1.5.1.zip, clicked open, double clicked "SetupRW" in the zipped folder and installed then ran the RW Utility v1.5.1

Here is a screen capture of my p6787c ACPI table, SLIC info;

RW screen.png

Notice above where it states "SLIC ver" and lists 0x00020001 (v2.1), that is how you know what version of SLIC your computer has.

Frank

<PS: Your computer's Release date was 8/31/2010, so your SLIC should be v2.1... anything from Vista to the intro of Win 7 (about Oct 2009) should be v2.0, anything after the intro of Win7 shoulod be v2.1>

Sorry but read my last post, exactly the same happens. Could it be because my pc is a 64bit machine.

Hello Evious, I'm not sure why you cannot install the program you would like, but since your system shipped with Windows 7, it would have SLIC 2.1 in the BIOS.

Here  is a link to the specifications for your system and it shows the system shipped with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium.
