HP 500B Microtower
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The PC:

Product Name: HP 500B Microtower

Product Number:B2C00UT#ABA

OS: Widows 10 64-Bit

DVD-RW Drive (from drive sticker):
HP DH-16ABSH-HT2

Hello,

I recently upgraded my PC from Win7 to Win 10 (both 64-bit). I just realized that doing so rendered my optical drive useless. The DVD-RW drive no longer shows up in the Device Manager, and there isn't even a drop down for the CD/DVD drive. Unfortunately, when I went to HP's product support page for the HP 500B MT, I did not see any drivers for the DVD-RW drive. I have verifed that the drive is still talking to the motherboard (see second image). Is this simply a case of finding a Win10 driver, or is there a bigger issue that I'm not yet thinking?

If installing the driver is all I need to do, where can I find a download?

Thanks in advance for your help,

K
