Hi,
The same problem happens when you create image from Windows 7 and clone to new PC with different AMT chipset version.
In my case image from AMT 6.0 and cloned to AMT 7.0 - driver not compatible. Setup of Management engine driver failed with error: "The setup progam could not install one or more device drivers. The setup is aborted"
Solution: DELETE HECI service from registry, reboot and install Management Engine driver compatible with your platform.

Thanks for you answer. That's exact my Problem
I just made one Image for 7 hardware. And one have the AMT 6.0 and the last have the AMT 7.0
That explain my Problem.
I need to make a other Image only for the AMT 7.0 hardware.
Thanks 😉

hi, paul
i need your assistance with the pci simple communication controller. after i download the machine hp compaq 6200 pro sff from windows 7 to windows xp sp3, all devices went fine except the pci simple communication controller unknown. i've downloaded the sp52247 for xp, and manually point to C:\swsetup\sp52247\Drivers\MEI; and it gave me the screen: "an error occurred during the installation of the device, the name is already in use as either a service name or a service display name."
It is pci/ven_8086&dev_1c3A&subsys_1497103c&rev_04\3&11583659&0&B0
can you please help me on this? i appreciated.
thanks

Hi, Danny:
Did you read this link I posted above?
http://rikkoss.wordpress.com/2011/08/02/intel-ime-windows-xp-driver-issue-on-hp-8200-elite-sff-pc/
This should work on the 6200 SFF as it is pretty much the same machine as an 8200, just a slightly different Intel 6 series chipset.
Paul
