Huge THANKS! I have spent 2 days searching HP's site for this. After resorting to a Google search; I found your post. What a bright spot to begin a new day! HP really needs to make their site search more user friendly.

Hi,, someone here experiencing this way as I am using Simple save to backup my files. I also want to make partition in this drive then I had a backup drive also with storage drive. I just wanna split up this two drive (letter) that my Explorer can detect both drives.
If I am doing this way, will it occur errors in future ? Thanks..

So if I can understand, you are sharing that your PC can't see the simple save 1TB drive while it's plugged in? Have you tried connecting the drive to different USB port on your PC or to anther PC to see if perhaps it's the PC, the port, or the cable? Once you can see the drive again there is a posting eariler in this message thread with a link and instructions on how to download the simplesave software and reload it on to your external drive. Let me know if any of these options works. Regards
