gwallace,

This happens when many are on the same thread.  It's best to start your own as there are often times configuration differences between the PCs.  I 'll see if I can work thru your issue with you.

Sorry, the problem I am having appeared to be identical to the problem the original poster has.

Right out of the box client having the same issue and I can't figure out why.  Someone suggested resetting the monitor by going into the monitors menu.  there is no way to access the monitors menu that I can see?  There is a source button, +/- and power.

Have you got this resolved?  Can you help me out if you can?

Having the exact same problem as the posters. Everything is plugged in right. My pc was running dual screen at 1600x1200 x32 bit colors each so it can't be my video card. At the very least it should be able to do the same; however max resolution is maxed out at 1280x800. All drivers up to date.

I'm not a noob. Been building PCs my whole life. What's going on here? Very disappointing...

Having the same issue with nVidia Quadro FX 4500 - no problem running the Apple Cinema Display at 2560 x 1600, however, this monitor will not display resolutions higher than 1280 x 800.  I have to say that this is a flaw with HP's monitors. Disappointing.

Have you tried using the DISPLAY PORT cable?  From what we found we could not achieve full resolution until we used the display port cable.  Sounds weird, but give it a try

Hi guys, I just received my ZR30w and am having the same issue.  I spent about 3 or 4 hours today on the phone with HP support and they were unable to help me, did anybody with this issue figure it out or have any advice?

Here also a problem with the ZR30w. Stays black at both the Lenovo X220 UltraBase docking and X220 MiniDock. When connected with the single channel Displayport to DVI adapter (DisplayPort side at the docking) then it works with both but then only 1280x800.

How do I have to proceed?
