My girlfriend's laptop has this problem. A boot up password that pops up just after the HP logo(Im not anywhere near her right now so I cant see.)
She has an HP pavilion.
I think the Product number is FZ941PA#ABG
But she also gave me two other numbers that I dont know what they are(since I cant see the laptop)

I haven't told her to guess the password wrong until the System disabled screen pops up yet.

I have a HP Compaq Mini 110 with a BIOS password that prevent the OS loading.   I have tried disconnecting the CMOS Battery and Power Battery etc with no joy, the password still remains.

 

The system hault code is:

CNU93855MG

I have the same problem. Tried all kinds of stuff to no avail- battery reset, utilities we can't boot with. We think someone maliciously tampered with it, but who knows. I would really appreciate if one of you nice boys (or girls!)  could crack the hash code for me: 590537437 Also, where do you enter the new code? I'm kind of a noob at this. >.>
