Hi,

Review page 2-3 in the Technical Reference Manual.

If you have the SFF model then you are limited to a 25 watt PCI-E x16 graphics card.  You might be able to squeeze a litlle higher wattage from the slot but the 240 watt PSU will limit your choices. You will need a low profile card.

If you have the CMT model then you are limited to a 75 watt PCI-E x16 graphics card.

Do not buy a graphics card that is rated only for UEFI PCs.

Know what the return policy is before you buy.

Hi,

A recent post on the internet indicated the the AMD R7 240 should work.  It's a 30 watt card.

can i upgrade my power supply to get a better card

Hi,

HP typically use proprietary power supplies in the business class PCs.  If you can find a bigger PSU that will work then in theory a better graphics card should work.  You might be treading on thin ice.  I haven't seen a post out here indicating that someone was successful in doing so.
