After upgrading to Amd ryzen 5700G the cpu fan increased its speed

Hi @user2414 

 

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

Try resetting the BIOS to defaults.

 

The factory CPU and the new CPU both have a 65 watt TDP.

 

I don't know why the CPU fan is spinning faster now unless you did not reapply thermal paste correctly or the factory heatsink/fan is incorrectly mounted to the MB.
