HP Victus L5 doesn't boot from HP Windows 11 recovery usb

I have successfully managed to create a recovery usb image from another computer. I have no recovery partition available though since I have deleted it. The image boots up and then it gives me an error, and I am unable to push the procedure further ahead. How can I resolve this?

Not sure what you did, so the only suggestion I can offer would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

Since you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter the notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.

What I exactly did is I've wiped the original OS altogether with the hidden recovery partition, and replaced it with a linux distribution. I followed the instructions above, exactly as you described, and I end up with recovery screen, and the error message I have provided. If i try F8 boot options as suggested, it brings me back to the initial recovery screen.

Restart the computer. 

Immediately tap the ESC key to get the menu of options. 

Select the F9 boot options menu and from there, select the HP USB recovery drive you created, and press the enter key. 

The PC should boot from the USB recovery drive.

Maybe it has something to do with TPM settings? I also defaulted it to the factory state

I also did it already and it doesn't help. The only difference I can note is that the bootable drive isn't called HP USB, but Kingston Data Traveller since this actually is my usb drive I am trying to use while booting

Unfortunately, I don't know what the problem could be. 

When you selected that USB drive, the PC should have booted from it.
