Microsoft Windows 11

My pc wont let me login. It says the following “something happened and your PIN isn’t available. Click to set up your pin again.” However when i do so nothing happens and then  an error message appears.

I have had this happen a few times and I suspect you are not online.  Look bottom right corner for a wifi icon and click on it to log in using WIFI.  Probably easier to use an ethernet cable direct to the modem.  You may have to confirm using smartphone or email if you have two step authentication.

Once online you can create a PIN.  Just use the same old one.

Alternately, look for the option "log in another way" and try that.  If you have a local account then use the local account.

Thank you for using HP products and posting to the community.
