Hi - I’m posting on behalf of my son. He purchased a HP laptop last May from best buy and as soon as it was out of warranty it started to become noisy. He visited Best buy who advised him it was the fan and since then he has purchased 4, yes 4, different fans via Best Buy and on their advice to be informed they weee the wrong fans. He is being told Best Buy are unable to make direct contact with HP to find out the actual fan needed. I have looked on HP website but unless we pay for an after warranty advice service I can’t seem to find where I can speak to an advisor free to purchase the correct fan. The laptop is a HP Omen gaming laptop product ID 74S79UA#ABA. Any suggestions of what I can do to get the correct fan? Many thanks
