Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I have a problem of when I turn on secure boot my  pc pops up with this message every time I try to use it saying to automatically restart and it infinitely loops to that. But when I turn it off it works completely fine, only problem is that I need secure boot on for some functions. Any help to fix this problem?

Hi @Adam285

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Newer HP PCs, since like 2013, shipped with Secure Boot enabled on all UEFI PCs. I am confused as to why you have to turn on Secure Boot. Secure Boot would be the default configuration.

Why did you turn off Secure Boot?

I can only guess your system disk is using MBR, or you installed a new graphics card or some other component/device, or you are dual booting to an unsigned Linux distro alongside W10. Linux modified the Boot Manager.

Regards
