when playing games on this pc the fans get really loud, the whole house can hear it blowing, its probably louder than a vacume. This has been the case since purchase

@Arjé , welcome to the Community.

 

It sounds like your computer may be over-heating.  I suggest that you contact HP Customer Support for help.  It doesn't happen often, but sometimes they don't get enough thermal paste on the processor.  This will cause it to over-heat and cause the fans to run too fast.
