Microsoft Windows 11

I have been using the USB-C Port on my laptop since I bought it last year for display to external monitors, as of 2 days ago however it only detects peripheral devices and doesn’t recognise any monitors at all (Even with brand new cables and tested on different monitors).

I have also started receiving the “CMOS Checksum is invalid” error every time I boot up and my BIOS settings reset every time. I suspect this may be the reason my USB-C Port no longer allows video as the “High Resolution Mode on USB-C DP alt mode dock” option reverts to disabled.

I don’t know how to fix this - I have already reinstalled my BIOS and from what I can see the laptop doesn’t have a removable CMOS battery to replace.
