I have a HP laser jet 1102w with a solid orange and green light. The printer will not print. I perform a factory reset, which did not work. I unplugged the printer for about 10 minutes that did not work. I installed a new ink cartridge that did not work. I remove the paper and place it back, that did not work. Not sure what else I can do! Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I found the solution watching a YouTube video the internal scanner needed to be replace or clean. I was hoping in my case to be clean. Unfortunately I had to replace it. Found one on eBay for about $30. It took about 10 minutes to fix. Nothing hard or extremely difficult to do! Video is on YouTube look for a HP1020 printer with a orange lime error code. I not able to post the link here.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
lug the printer directly into an electrical outlet to make sure the power source functions correctly.
-
Unplug the power cord from any surge protector, extension cable, or power strip.
-
Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet.
-
Turn on the printer.
Try to print. If the issue persists, continue to the next step.
Also, you can try upgrading the firmware: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168
