Welcome back to the Poly Community.
Our partner Microsoft controls the rollout of their Teams App via the TAC based on the firmware versions the MTRoA are running as some of the features within their App may depend on features within the MTRoA firmware.
Even if you would be able to download an APK from the Google store you could only install it on the Device but not the matching one on the TC8 which breaks the installation.
Why are you staying on 3.14.x? Is there a specific reason or is this a G7500 with a HDCI camera or USB Audio?

Hi Paul,
I guess firmware update will be required. As soon as the firmware is updated to 4.x, Teams app update is offered in TAC, I currently have 1.0.96.2023041207 deployed to the X50.
@SteffenBaierUK, not sure if this has been mentioned before, but peripherls no logner report
status in TAC with 4.x firmware, whereas it works as expected with 3.14.
UPDATE: Guess I spoke too soon, the two devices I updated to 4.x first (my test deployment) do not show peripheral status, but the others that have been updated at a later stage report correctly (FW 4.0.0.376092)

As this is a Microsoft Software aka Microsoft Teams, Admin Agent, OEM agent App, and Company Portal reporting this natively into the Teams infrastructure I suggest you work with our Partner Microsoft on this.
