I can connect to the Polycom
140.242.250.204 number, however none of the others work. When I dial other numbers, I get audio through my speakers, but there is no video, only a picture of a speaker. Why no video?
I am perplexed, because the above Polycom Number has the video.

My apologies, this probably won't help you Stephen and hope I can jump on the bandwagon slightly.
I'm also trialling the m100 software and have found the posts really useful, although I've not found anything that refers to using the m100 software to connect to ISDN lines. I'm aware the majority of users are likley to be connecting between sites via IPs and not ISDN
I found the Help Notes that accompany the software leave you slightly wanting in certain areas. I too have added and opened up all the appropriate ports on the firewall and my windows firewall. I assume i still need to set up NAT with the WAN IP address so my HDX 4000 knows how to route incoming traffic?
As things stand, I currently receive "Your call could not be completed, because the call was routed through an intermediate network that does not service the far site. Contact your administrator for assistance"
I'm able to connect to most of the test sites in the contact lists and have also connected to some of the sites IPs I've seen in this thread.
Any help appreciated

My experience with Polycom equipment has been very disappointing to say the least. Polycom PVX software has never working in or outside of our environment. Have recently tried M100 telepresence software and also no video and message about firewall blocking audio and video, even though all firewalls are turned off and I'm using external isp provider.
Still looking for answers.

Hi. Firewalls & Router NAT is a common problem when trying to do VC from a LAN to anywhere other than the LAN. If you are looking to have "several" VC devices in your LAN, you're going to need "several" public IP addresses OR some other mechanism to deal with getting external traffic to/from the VC end points.
Using a Polycom VBP E Series will solve this problem. Single public IP address, multiple LAN VC devices & no messing around with your LAN data security. Here's the link to Polycoms product page.

M100 is an IP ONLY product. ISDN (& PSTN) are different "clouds". We use bridges to connect dissimilar "clouds". You can buy them but they don't come cheep. Service providers offer time on bridges, You VC supplier can track down services that will enable IP to ISDN/PSTN, Skype, Lync, Google Talk etc.
