Hi erico. My name is josh and I was wondering if you could possibly give me a list of processors I could use to upgrade my laptop. Ive been thinking about getting a better laptop for recording and producing music but if I can upgrade to the cpu I want I shouldnt have to. The model is hp pavilion dv7-6175us entertainment and it has the stock cpu the intel core i5-2410m. Thank you very much for any info u can share. Josh.

Sorry, but a quad core CPU is not compatible with the G60 or CQ60 notebooks.

Unfortunately, your notebook system board will only support an upgrade to 1GB.

 

That will be two identical 512MB PC2100 modules.
