Everytime I go to print I have to turn the whole printer off and back on again. If I print more than a couple pages it goes to sleep after a couple pages

Hi @Wickedjthefiend,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP DeskJet 3755 printer may be experiencing an issue with its power management settings. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to address this problem.

  • Check Power Settings: First, check the power settings on your printer. Some printers have a power-saving mode that can be adjusted or disabled in the settings menu. Make sure that the power-saving mode is turned off or set to a longer duration.
  • Update Firmware: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. HP often releases firmware updates to fix bugs and improve performance. You can usually update the firmware through the printer's settings menu or by downloading the latest firmware from the HP website and following the instructions for installation.
  • Check Connection: Make sure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network. A loose or unstable connection could cause the printer to go to sleep unexpectedly.
  • Reset Printer: Try resetting the printer to its factory defaults. This can often resolve issues related to settings or configurations that may be causing the problem.

By going through these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue with your HP DeskJet 3755 printer going to sleep before the print job finishes.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
