Taztim I am having the exact same issue. I have iPad 2 iOS 5.0.1 and iPhone 4s (same OS). At first no AirPrint printers even appeared. So, I rebooted wireless router, shut down both Apple devices as well as the HP Officejet 6500A Plus (Firmware CIP1FN1126R the latest available). Then restarted the router, then the printer, then both apple devices. I checked my iPad and iPhone and sure enough the Printer now appeared. I tried to print a photo and got Same Message as you, "the printer is no longer available". I tried selecting the printer as if to have the devices go find a valid AirPrint Printer and go "No AirPrint Printers Found" ... Stumped, I turned the printer off Nd on again and finally was able to print a test photo. BUT, when I tried to print from iPad it did not work. I turned the printer and apple devices off and restarted them ... NOW I'm back to where this whole post started "No AirPrint Printers Found". On either device. How frustrating and disappointing this is. I bought this Printer BE AUSE of the advertised AirPrint capability. But, if it doesn't really work, what's the point. HP cannot seriously expect me to reset routers, printers, and devices just to print one page. What's the scoop here HP??

OK. I restarted the router and printer AGAIN. I printed I page from my iPad2. Then went directly to another tab in browser to print something else and got " Printer is Offline" I selected Continue. Tried again and got No AirPrint Printer Found" ... Seriously? HELP HP. Thanks.

Everything is working now, with one exception.  What I had to do was use the ethernet cable from the printer to my tower.  Then I shut down and restarted in their suggested order.  Everydevice prints wireless and I'm reluctant to remove the cable.  As they are next to each other it is no big deal for me.  Hope this helps.

Good to hear Taz ... I'm still having major issues with AirPrint on end. Where can I find the suggested "restart order"...

Hello I am having the same problem. Both my iphone 4 and ipad 2 say no airprint printers found. The firmware is up to date. I have the Officejet 6500 710n-z. My husband bought me the printer for this reason alone. It's been months and I can't get it to work, at all. I was JUST able to connect it to my MAC wirelessly. Please help!

PLease tell me in steps how to print from iPhone to Officejet 6500A Plus. Thanks

You may need to power cylce the router, printer, and iphone. Plug the router back in first and wait for all the lights to get to normal then power the printer on. When the printer is back to normal power the iphone back on and you should be able to print.

Please see my post from January 18th ... I've already done what you just suggested ... more than once.  But for kicks, I'll do it again tonight when I get home from work.

I see from Fuzzbuster9's comment, that he is having the SAME issue still ... 5 months later.

The only reason I bought the printer was to be able to AirPrint, and it hasn't worked yet.

I'll repost once I try the reboot thing AGAIN.

Your right this should be working for you. What is the make and model of your router ? There are a few routers out there that have trouble working with Air Print.
